Integral Ecology - What does that mean for us at IHM?
Pope Francis, through the publication 'Laudato Si', or "Praise be to you", challenges us to consider our deep relationship with all of creation. It offers us a powerful moral and spiritual imperative for environmental action. We are called on to embrace a new lifestyle that respects all of creation and to commit to change.
At IHM we begin this journey with a focus on the reduction of waste. Families are asked to provide 'Nude Food' (no packaging) in lunch boxes. Our students have really driven the change at our school and taken ownership of the initiative.
